See what is full
Open Settings, then Storage, to see what is eating your space.

Empty the bin
Deleted files still sit in the Recycle Bin. Right click it and pick Empty.

Clear temp files
Type Disk Cleanup in the start menu and clear temp files and old updates.

Move big files off
Photos and videos you rarely open can go to an external drive or the cloud.

Still tight? Upgrade
If your drive is just too small, a bigger SSD adds room and speed.

Heads up
Disk Cleanup only touches temp and system files. Do not delete anything from your personal folders unless you are sure you have a copy.
